Established as an Indonesian legal entity under the name PT Clemont Finance Corporation with a paid-up capital of IDR 15 Billion, through investments from Clemont Finance Company Limited (CFCL) and Techwin Jaya Development.
FEB 1991
Commenced operations after obtaining an operational license as a finance company from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.
JUN 1996
Changed name to PT Dong Nam Clemont Finance Indonesia following the entry of Dong Nam Bank, Korea as a shareholder.
MAR 1997
Increased Paid-up Capital to IDR 25 Billion.
NOV 1998
CFCL acquired all share ownership from Dong Nam Bank.
MAR 1999
Changed name to PT Clemont Finance Indonesia.
AUG 2001
PT Pelayaran Korindo (PK) acquired share ownership from Techwin Jaya Development.
JUN 2008
Increased Paid-up Capital to IDR 100 Billion with Shinhan Capital, Korea joining as a partner.
MAR 2015
CFCL acquired shares from Shinhan Capital, resulting in a capital structure where 85% is owned by CFCL and the remaining 15% is owned by PT Pelayaran Korindo.
APR 2018
PT. Clemont Finance Indonesia opened and inaugurated the Surabaya branch.
AUG 2022
PT. Clemont Finance Indonesia opened and inaugurated the Pontianak branch.
AUG 2024
PT. Clemont Finance Indonesia opened and inaugurated the Bekasi branch.
SEP 2024
PT. Clemont Finance Indonesia opened and inaugurated the BSD branch.
OCT 2024
PT. Clemont Finance Indonesia opened and inaugurated the Cibinong branch.
MAY 2025
PT. Clemont Finance Indonesia opened and inaugurated the Banjarbaru and Pangkalanbun branches.
AUG 2025
PT. Clemont Finance Indonesia opened and inaugurated the Berau, Kisaran, and Pekanbaru branches.
